Single October 2021 Paper Applicant here. Got my AOR in October 2021. Fingerprints in March 2022, Test Invitation received and done in April 2022 and Updated to Completed in the same month. Fingerprints received in April, BG completed as of today.

What I'm hitting at is, sometimes.. test invite comes before BG and vice-versa. There's no straight or rigid process to it. Got my test invite from the Mississauga office before my BG was even completed.

Agreed. There's no telling which comes first. My timeline is pretty much same as yours. Test and BG completed as of this month, and the rest are still in progress.

That's what an ircc agent told me on the phone but I agree with you, there is no pattern, test invitation can come first

At this point, you can't. I have contacted local representative. After 1 month of back and forth email, they said, IRCC hasn't started processing yet.

I totally hear you… it’s frustrating not knowing whether our applications are actually “in progress” or just stored up in some e-inventory folder.
On a positive note, I’ve seen posts in September thread for online applicants with December AOR reporting test invites. Hopefully January AOR holders would start seeing progress late June!

Paper applicants are lucky these days; getting processed much faster. I also checked the tracker for applicants in 2022, some were able to get BGC done and have even been called for the test. Unsure what this is all about, but I hope online will get there as well and soon.
