I just checked the status online and the application is recieved. Thanks a lot for this suggestion.
Can you share the number on which you had contacted the IRCC agent?
Thanks
Call IRCC on 1-888-242-2100.

I used the menu options 1, 4, 1, 1. (You will have to wait patiently till the menu is active as there is a lot of talk in between options when they don't accept input.)

Use the callback option when asked. This will happen if the wait time is really long.

Hi, you can add my application to the sheet. Ecas STILL returns "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided " when I search using my info - is this normal 2+ months after receipt? I see others without formal AOR at least being able to see receipt on Ecas so am concerned.

City: Montreal
Status: Single
Days: 1140
Sent: Oct 15 2020
Received (via UPS tracking): Oct 17 2020
AOR: None yet, no Ecas file
Got AOR, 1/26/2021

Hello, glad to join the forum. Here is my info. Please add to the tracker at your convenience.

Location (city): Vancouver
App type (single or # of people): Family of 2
Physical presence days: 1696.5
App sent date: 10/13/2020
App delivered date: 10/16/2020 (Canada Post tracking)

I haven't received any email or mail yet. But I do see two lines on ECAS.
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 14, 2020. (Is it determined by the post stamp rather than the actual received date??)
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 4, 2021.
More specifically, the 2nd line just appeared today, it was not there yesterday when I checked.
Should I expect to receive a physical mail from CIC instead of an email? Also which one is the AOR date, Jan 4, Jan 26 or a later date when I receive their mail/email?
Thank you!

Jan 4 is your AOR. I believe you will get mail shortly.

Hey everyone
just a quick check
I noticed the application form (cit 0002) has been changed recently and now there is a validation button to generate barcode...
By the time I applied the newest application form did not have that validation button and was published by cic in 2019-12.
Did I use the right form or have I missed anything?
