I've been a silent observer on these forums for the last 2 years. I am happy to report that I received PPR today from CPC-Ottawa. Here is my timeline:

Stream: FSW Outland (no PNP)
AOR: October 23, 2019
CoR: USA
Medical Extended (2nd time): Nov 24, 2021
PPR: Dec 1, 2021

Good luck to everyone else still waiting!
How many persons in your application?

Received my PPR today. woot!
Congrats! all that waiting finally paid off.
You asked me above if I received CoPR. Well, I haven't. Was supposed to get it mid-March 2020 (according to the GCMS notes). But then the pandemic started. And since then the only update I had was the re-meds request.
I've done them and they are passed since 27th November.

I see you got your PPR about a month or so after your re-meds have been approved. I hope I'm gonna see some update as well soon.
That'd be a nice Christmas present :D

Hi @legalfalcon

I got my PPR and just have a question I want to ask. Can we use our POF funds for booking for flights to Canada or you need to show you have all the money if/when they ask you at the Canadian border? Is it strictly that the POF money should be used in Canada or it can be used for the flights to Canada?

Thank you

The PoF has to be available when you submit your application as well as when you land in Canada.

So you cannot use it for flights.

Thank you for your response. But can you withdraw some of the money and carry it as cash with you or they want to see the bank statement with full amount in bank. Reason I ask is it might take sometime to get money transferred from my bank to a Canadian bank. Also do I need a bank statement on the day or my COPR and passport will be enough?

PS: Can I withdraw and carry the limit of CAD 10000 and show the remainder in a bank statement?
Yes you can, just remember you need to declare any cash you have when you enter Canada. Congrats! What was your visa office and what is your current country of residence?

Yes, you can withdraw the money, transfer it to your Canadian bank account, get a bank draft etc. All that matters is that this money be accessible to you.

But our security check was not started yet!
How long does it take?
