Guys, how to understand that the security check goes well? I mean, what's the difference between regular security check and security screening? Trying to calm down, but I read several times that normally security takes several days to be completed. Am I the lucky one who called IRCC exactly in these "several days"? I got a ghost update a month ago, could it be the beginning of the security check? And if so, is it OK that it's still ongoing?

I mean, should I start to panic? :)

Many Nov folks got PPR yesterday. Good to see the messages flowing :)

Most of the guys who received it had VO as Ottawa. I doubt if its the slowest compared to what I have been hearing over here.
@SithLord no hard feelings :p
Ottawa VO has slowed down. They onky seemed to have picked up now

Hi,

Thanks for the positivenes. I just got my gcms notes and saw that there is a RR as case analyst thinks the job description in the reference letters is not consistent with the NOC code.

Do we write the same job description as given for NOC in the website or can we modify it to suit the actual Information Security work?

The last update was on March 21. Since then stuck for a case officer to pick it up. No ADR too. I am confused. Should I edit the reference letters with the same wording as given in the website, get them signed from ex Managers and then upload ?

My NOC is not 2171, but as general rule you cannot copy paste NOC responsibilities directly from CIC.
You have to write in your own words and it should cover 70-80% of responsibilities as mentioned by CIC.
So normally people write 11 to 14 points in their experience letters.

I came to office with good mode specially due to holy month of Ramdan, but when I heard its raining PPR in later months of mine I start losing my patience.

I'm also overly thinking on this point.

As per my call in 2nd week of April agent said eligibility passed and security in process. Si I was expecting some good news in these days as normal security does not take much time.

So i already start to panic about security screening.

Hi guys!
I am in the same situation. I got RPRF request on April 5, I believe that day my eligibility was passed and security started. I called on May 4 and the agent told me that eligibility is passed and security in progress. She said "It's just a matter of time, to be honest".
I thought it takes just several days.

ya It should matter of time if its normal security checks. is one month not enough for security checks? other way we can be in SS.
I am much frustrated today

Hahahah, I can totally understand how you feel. All Nov 1, 2 and 3 folks from Ottawa VO are getting PPR but nothing for me yet.

When I think about it, I was actually the one who was getting lot of updates like every other day for the past 2 weeks and yet I'm still waiting :D:D:D:D

Apr 19 I received RPRF request. Thought PPR would come next week and here I am

November Month AORs started moving, So hopefully October Backlogs also they will clear side by side. Practicing to wait patiently and to stay positive. Expecting PPR by end of Next week at least. If not I will have to move back to home country as I am not renewing my employment visa which is expiring by 21 May. And yes..we are many waiting in same situation..
