Hi - In criminality - they check the validity of the PCCs that have been submitted. In eligibility check, they will thoroughly verify all the documentation that you have submitted, and in security - they will check with the canadian border security and other international agencies about you. If your status is "We are processing your background check..." - it means you are in IP2 and much closer to PPR. It now all depends on how soon the eligibility and security check if completed by IRCC and other agencies.
Yes - people are receiving around that aor. You just need to be patient. Do you have any updates on your application (e.g., eligibility - met, criminality - passed, etc). If not, you should order GCMS notes and gather details. There is no defined timeline as applications are taking 6-8 months for Indian FSWO applicants.

Checked my account before 7 AM and there was nothing.. opened cic portal and saw a ghost update.. got extremely excited and came to the office feeling good.. as soon as I opened my inbox again I instantly saw the golden email.. it was received at 7:02 AM..
My timeline is below:
AoR: 28th Oct
Stream: FSW-outland (Pakistan)
MEP: 27th November
Biometrics Completed: 28th November
Radio silence after that
Ghost update/PPR: 12th April (dated 11th April)
I had ordered gcms which I received on 3rd April.. they were generated on 6th March and as per them I had only cleared R10, Medical and Criminality. Eligibility and Security had not even started.
I called cic a couple of days back and got through to a very supportive agent. He told me that my eligibility was Recommend Pass but my Security check still didn't start. He also said that he's hopeful my process will be completed within the 6 month timeline but if it exceeds then 3rd September is the date at which he can ask for an update from the Case Officer, before that all I can do is wait.
But at last I received the email today and the wait is finally over. I pray that all those who are waiting will get to hear the good news very soon and wish them the best of luck for the new journey ahead!
I wouldn't be that sure. I got a ghost update on Moday, still nothing new.
Anyway, it's so motivating to see people getting their PPRs. So glad for you guys!
why are eligibility Met cases taking so long for their applications to be taken up by officers? since december or jan i am in Eligibility Met state with no update at all.
