Since the test date is also when the documents are checked, I'm presuming my son is to attend with me even though he isn't taking the test? Our applications are linked together.

We sent you a notice on February 27, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 28, 2018 at 8:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

According to https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...do-we-taking-minors-to-interview-test.546018/ you should not; the letter to the test and interview says as much.

But do take all the documents that were sent with his application.

Thanks for the link to the other thread, it was helpful.

The letter references young children that need to be watched over and states that rescheduling needs to be done if childcare cannot be arranged. My son is 16, so I wasn't sure. Thanks, though.
