Hello everyone!!!

Finally, We got SA by mail. The letter is from December 14 but just today arrives home.

I want to share my dates:

Application received: October 14
Process start: December 2
We don't received AOR
SA: letter received today December 30 with date December 14.

Ecas for PR status has a wrong date. They put October 14 and the correct date is December 14.

Now, other nice and unbelievable waiting for AOR2... Ha ha

Happy new year for all this great family and please all people who is waiting be relax and positive. It is the only way we should take.

Needhimback you are next!!!! We all prying for your SA.

Hi i sent my wifes sponsor case on 25 oct and it was recieved on 28 oct 2015
I recieved aor1 on 16 dec and when i check my status sponsor status is in process and pr status is two line.
One line is we recieved ur pr case on 28 oct
Second line is we recieved medical results

And my sponsor status is also two lines second line is we started processing 15 dec

How thses lines looks what do u guys think when i will be getting SA

Hello and welcome to the team syrajoad

You got your AOR - thank god, but from the information you provided It doesn't seem like they started processing the sponsored person's application yet therefore it's still at the processing centre. I only know this because I call at least once a week to find out how this works lol
Like you i too is waiting for SA and hoping we will get it soon !!

Keep checking your status through Ecas for any changes to the sponsored person application, keep in mind once your status changes for sponsored person (applicant) to in process that's a great sign !!!.....and the file is now transferred to the visa office, therefore you SA will follow

Ps: you can always call the call centre and provide them with the UCI number, they should be able to give you some kind of information.

It's hard to say for sure because CIC isn't always great about updating ECAS. I have SA and my ECAS still says "in process" for my Sponsor. Mine doesn't say anything about medicals received, just that it is in process. So you could get SA and it won't show in the update.

It no longer has it broken up to sponsor and overseas visa office. It just has 18 months!

Good to hear from you again!!

Question : do you see the sponsored person staus in process or the sponsor staus in process ??
Because if the sponsored person status shows in process then that's a good sign and SA has been approved

There is a little chart with three columns.
The first column's title says "Sponsored Person" there is one name listed, which is my Wife's name (The Non-Canadian individual).

The second one has a title that reads Sponsorship Application Status. Under here it says "In Process". When I click the In process status, it brings me to another page with 2 short points. The first point is saying we have received your application on October xx and the second one is we started processing your application on December 14.

The third and final column is titled Permanent Residence Application Status. Here it shows Application Received. When I click Application Received I see 2 short points here as well. The first point says We have received your application on October xx (This is the same date listed for the Sponsorship Application Status when I click the In Process status). The second point says Medical results have been received.


It was a long winded reply, but I felt it was necessary to include as many details as possible, since CIC has taught us all how important it is to be meticulous with the details.

I noticed this too! But I wasn't sure if it was just me not finding the link correctly. Although it does look like it's not only me!

Also I did notice subtle changes to the font typeface on the CIC website, so I'm sure they've changed quite a bit since browsing through the website things don't seem to be where they should be.

Yeah it changed for everyone, there's a post on it and people aren't sure if it's good or bad lol.

I guess with the new year they've made new changes.
