Hello everyone!!!

Finally, We got SA by mail. The letter is from December 14 but just today arrives home.

I want to share my dates:

Application received: October 14
Process start: December 2
We don't received AOR
SA: letter received today December 30 with date December 14.

Ecas for PR status has a wrong date. They put October 14 and the correct date is December 14.

Now, other nice and unbelievable waiting for AOR2... Ha ha

Happy new year for all this great family and please all people who is waiting be relax and positive. It is the only way we should take.

Our application was received October 7 but we have still heard nothing. I've sent a case specific enquiry and tried logging into ECAS with all the combinations you guys have listed but nothing works. I tried calling the help centre today, but could not get through to a person, the system just said they had a high call volume and hung up. Is the only option to keep trying the call centre until we hear something? It should not be this difficult for all of us to just find out the status of our application, so frustrating!!

Yes it's extremely frustrating, just keep trying ecas - do it real slow you might get in.

All we can do is patiently continue to wait - good luck !!!

But it seems most ppl are getting their SA by mail. I got AOR dec18 and am already worried why I haven't gotten SA yet. And I keep checking ecas numerous times in the day but no update.

Medical Results Recieved!

Hey Everyone,

Just thought I'd keep you all updated and hopefully will cause some of you guys to go back and check ECAS

So I got my spouse to do the upfront medical before we even submitted the application and now under the Application for Permanent Residence section it shows that medical results have been received, so as mentioned don't fret if yours doesn't show right away. I got the In Process and "We started processing your application on <insert date here>" even though all documents were sent together in one package.

Actually that got updated to our ECAS profile a few days ago but I just haven't had the time to comment here

Good to hear from you again!!

Question : do you see the sponsored person staus in process or the sponsor staus in process ??
Because if the sponsored person status shows in process then that's a good sign and SA has been approved

Hi there welcome to the waiting game - there's still lots of us here waiting for SA just like youn- I received my AOR since Dec 5th and still waiting ????

They will send it to you according to what information you provided, either email or mail. But keep in mind they are not always consistent and it could come either way.

Keep checking ecas or call them Like some some of us did in this thread, provide them with your UCI number you never know what they will tell you .

But to answer your question yes you are right !!! It's the applicant (sponsored person) confirmation that their file has been received and now in process - congrats !!
