WELCOME TO OCTOBER 2015 SPOUSAL APPLICANTS FORUM:

All the applicants and sponsors can start this forum with understanding of out-land spousal process;

1. CIC Processing Time:

2. SPONSOR expectation during the first step:

a. AOR1 or Application package will be send back for lack of important document
b. request for missing document or updated document - based on your spousal application
c. Medical, CIC payment, required application forms and Police report check
d. SA = Sponsor Approval email or letter

3. SPONSORED APPLICANT expectation during the second step:

e. AOR2 - from Visa Office
f. missing or updated document request - based on case to case
g. eligibility and criminality check
h. Interview - based on case to case
i. passport request for visa

Yes it is end of September and beginning of October and almost done with 2015 with lots of DM, PPR, hopes, dreams etc...

So, I had mailed my Outland PR App on 09-28-15, But Canada Post screwed up and it left Mississauga and was routed in error somewhere else. It was finally received by CIC on Oct 2.
I think I need to follow this board, not the Sept Outland Applicant board.

I have already added myself to the September spreadsheet, should I change it to the October spreadsheet?

Thats a pretty big error! They must have realised fairly quick though..

It was mailed from Brantford, made it to Mississauga and then routed out in error to Vaughan on Oct 1st. It made it's way back to Mississauga and then was delivered on Oct 2nd. Crazy!!

Crazy! We sent ours from northern AB on a stat day and it took 4 days... Did you pay for express? You can get a refund for the delay if you did.

Yes, I did pay for Express. It was only $25 total with the box, tracking & signature. The refund probably wouldn't be much, ya think?

I sent my wife's application and it was received on Oct 1, 2015

but i am confused whats the next step?
i dnt see any acknowledgement of receipt of my application such as : " your application was received..." either on email or on my e-CAS

do i expect that to happen?
all i have proof is the proof of courier delivery.

Yes you will receive acknowledgement letter AOR by email or by post in approximately 40 days ..wait n watch!

hey guys, Please help me.

I submitted my wife's application 4 weeks ago and it was returned today that I did not fill the 'use of representative' form.

I am not using any representative. Who is to fill this form? As I am her sponsor, should I complete the form as her representative?

Please advise
