HI everyone just to update I got my passport request yesterday does that mean this is done and 100% approved!??????? For those who haven't received what they should don't worry it is just a little gap you guys are next!!

I'm sharing my timeline once more:

OPNP inland applicant with dependents.
Application received: Oct 27th
AOR: March 12th
Med request: May 8th
Med done and RPRF paid: May 12th
IP: June 21st
DM: Aug 12th
CoPR (confirmation of PR) letter received: Aug 17th
PR at the border: Aug 26th

Note: I was told that CoPR is for visa exempt countries, so no PPR for us. Just a trip to Niagara...

This is what says on my email received:

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within [30] days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email and include the details of your situation.

STEP 1: CHANGES IN YOUR APPLICATION

STEP 2: PASSPORTS

You must provide us with passports for you and for each accompanying family member. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months and have at least two blank pages. If a child is included on your passport, you must have one blank page per accompanying child.


Please note that Confirmations of Permanent Residence and visas cannot be issued to holders of Diplomatic, Official or Military passports. You must have an ordinary passport.

About the passport for the dependent, I spoke to the cic agent and he clearly said that's even if it's ur spouse/dependent it's illegal to have someone's passport in ur possession and that I should tell my spouse to submit the passport in the local visa office,
But I think once u told that ur friend sent her passport along with her spouse passport together and it wasn't a problem... So m not very sure
My husband has submitted his passport to the local visa Offce back home and I sent Ottawa an email explaining the entire situation

Can you let us know what kind of notifications you got throughout the end of your timeline? Did you get any email updates when you went to IP, DM, or when the COPR was sent? Or was ECAS updated step by step?

Or did the COPR letter just suddenly show up in your letterbox one day?!?

I think Oct 27 visa officer has gone on a long vacation .
If i am not wrong nobody from OCT 27 received any update after their medical on April 03.
Lafleur16, Rut, Randhawa007 ,Justland,ram537 and me all got Medical on the same day but no update after that.
Most of the applicant before and after us got either DM or ppr but not us..

Maybe all Oct 27th will go from Medical received to PR

That is just a dream I know but it does not kill to dream

I got a friend who was a June 2014 applicant and got PR in June 2015 who had the same PNP as me. Since for her it took 1 year, I am expecting to receive it by October. I find that the process is super slow...

Mine has been in process for almost a month too.
I hope I don't have to send my passport off also as I'm from England, that would be perfect! Lol
They just requested some extra documents which I sent to them last week.
So fingers crossed, not much longer

Not even medical?

No dear not even medical..... I literally don't know what should I do. I have applied for GCMS notes, but ultimately I wont get anything from that. don't know when i will be in luck... some times I really feel sad why only me ????? everyone are discussing about there IP DM and PPR and I am the only one who is still waiting for medical request.

Can any one understand my pain and suggest me what should I do. My Immigration office is Sydney Australia.and they don't have any call center to answer any immigration queries. any also they don't reply regarding status inquiries.

Please guys help me to get out from this situation. Once again FYI my application was received on 20 October and have received AOR 24 March and nothing after that. and this is driving me crazy.
