No photo requirement. I sent yesterday. Hopefully, we can receive the pp back in a couple of weeks.

Good Question, Same came in my mind 2 weeks before...ans which i got......

Yes, u can go out of canada as you don't need visa to go back to your home country(Except you are traveling through london) , but u can't come back as u don't have PR card...and they do cancel all the other visa which is there on ur passport while issuing PR visa
in that case you may need to apply for some sort of temporary visa(not sure ) which............situation is tricky ...people say we are stuck till the point we don't get pr card if we have to travel and come back.....

Just found one more way (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=064&t=10) not sure if anyone tried.
Request for travel document if you don't have PR card or card is expired , they only give it for single entry but if you need for multiple entry provide the explanation letter...

Hi I paid my PPRF but the form only added my name, not DOB or UCI number, address etc. Will this be ok? I forwarded a pdf of it to CIC and explained the missing information but gave my UCI. Any one else have this problem with the payment receipt?

Well, you need to PRINT that receipt, FILL the missing information, SCAN that sheet and send the updated receipt to CPO/CIC.. That's how it works..
