Hey guys, I'm Oct 23 applicant. Today, I received an email from CIC, titled "Ready for Visa". However, my ECAS showing only "Medical Received". No IP or DM.

I'm just wondering if this is the letter for PPR? If that's the case, then skipping IP and DM, directly to PPR?

The letter is like:

"Dear.....

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete....

STEP 1: CHANGES IN YOUR APPLICATION....

STEP 2: PASSPORTS....

STEP 3: SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS FROM CANADA OR THE US......"


Should I send out the passport then?

Why did you say it is a scam, when the e-mail comes from CIC itself. I guess he just skip In Process and Decision made - which sometimes happens.

My friend received an e-mail and subject is Ready for Visa too.

Roydidi, is there any instruction on how or where to send your passport? Then send it. Congratulations!!!

Sir / mam - seeing that you're a hero member, I want to understand why you think it's a scam so we can all learn. Is it because it went from medical received to ready for visa ? if anything else, please enlighten

Don't be. We are all waiting - you have no idea how many times i check my email, status online and this forum. How many sleepless nights I have. How much hopes I have everyday. I know it will come - in Gods time.

Same here, I check my status and emails like all the time in a hope to see something and sometimes it becomes so hard not to think about it when others are being updated... Ur right about it coming in gods own time... When ever I pray I pray for all of us coz that's what connect us, the wait and the patient and I just hope that it's just the end now...
