hi everyone ,
can anybody guide me how to apply for bowp online ?
I already signed up for MYCIC account . but it directs me to express entry profile every time I tried to apply online . Please guide me how to upload all these documents ? and do i really need to answer all those questions on MYCIC account questionnaire ?

u should put temporary more than 6months.. not permanently.. so it will lead u to work permit application.

I called the CIC call center rep for the same issue and she told me that you can't apply Bridging Open Work Permit online, if you did it will be denied as it will ask you some unwanted additional docs such as Itinerary-which you dnt need if you are already in Canada. There are two ways you can apply for it though. First one is to do paper file to Vegreville, AB processing center(details on CIC website). And second option, which is kinda tricky, go to border and cross the country and come back to Canada and the CBSA officer will provide you the work permit. BUT it only will be possible if you have you PR application and your medical is done. BTW I will suggest you the first option as the second one is not guaranteed, but who knows you can get lucky?

My application was sent on October 28th, received by CIO on the 30th. OPNP - International student with job offer.

Did anyone get their medics requests who got their AoR last week?

I am a MPNP applicant from outside Canada and my PR application arrived at CIO -Syndey on 16 Oct. 2014. But I received no AOR till now . What should I do ? Does someone know how to contact the file intake office to check the status of my case ?

Hi Guys,

I am waiting for AOR number(International student with job offer). I re-sent the document to CIC at 11th Feb 2015 because miss sign.
After I get the AOR number, I think I can move to another company, because CIC don't check whether I'm working for same employer.
What do you think about it?

No Idea buddy, I had paid via credit card while applying itself, so I didn't have this step while waiting for AOR
