Sorry to ask but what does COPR means?

Confirmation of Permanent Residence. It's the letter you get if you are from an visa exempt country, instead of a PPR (passport request) for you to mail your passport to CIC to have a visa stamped in it.

It's essentially the same thing - both the COPR or the entry visa they put in your passport after PPR are the documents you use to land as a permanent resident.

Not sure, but it would be at least a few weeks - They have to send it through the postal service, and it goes via Canada Post regular mail which is horribly slow. Especially if you're on the other side of the country.

Do you know how many days usually people get PPR after MD?
Sometimes our national those got PPR before COPR.

My friend who is a December 1st applicant, and who got her IP less than a month ago, got her DM today.
It's been over 2 months since my IP.

I'll be 2 months on in IP in 3 days. Only change was on August 31st when my ecas was updated from 3 to 6 lines. In my view, I am in DM, my file is in Sydney ( i received a response to my email confirming documents were received a few weeks ago). We will probably go from IP to PPR - That's what I suspect. Not all case officers click the update DM button even though you're in DM state. This is my optimistic view . I chose to be optimistic

Saying "READY FOR VISA" .....Wish you all got PPR soon..!!
i think they are working also in NIGHT TIME......i have got E-Mail from CPC-Ottawa on 16 SEPTEMBER 2015 at 9:00PM (BC TIME).

MRC88 be patient. Soon. We're in the same boat. It's not going to be too long. At least PPRs are coming again

Congratulations tenkrun10............I hope we will be in the same boat again by getting my DM today
But my file is in Ottawa.Do you think Files in Ottawa tend to get direct PPR?. I think it was like that.
