You're just not up to the front of the line, yet. Don't panic about there being nothing done yet, that's how it works.

Imagine standing in line at the grocery store. No one checks out the groceries while you're in line. But you'll get up to the cashier eventually and then wham! They'll check everything and you'll be done.

I don't expect to hear anything until August. That's ten months from October. If I hear something before that, I'll be happy.

But nothing I do can hurry the process. The line moves at its pace and that's it - frustrating, but there it is.

I am really worried. It will be one month next week since DM but no email yet from Canadian Embassy. I tried to message them but I got auto reply.

I need EMERGENCY HELP.

I applied my case on 8th Aug 2014. Got remedical request on 28-05-2015 and in the letter from CIC it is clearly mentioned that I have 7 days to comply with the request.
I sent mail for appointment. but the appointment i have been given is after the 7 days limit. i have sent them many mails but they wont reply and give me any new appointment.
Can someone please guide me what to do as it is clearly mention in the letter that failure in complying with the request may result in refusal of my application.

request to all senior members for advice.

Is there anyone facing the same problem,??

You have asked this question in about 8 different threads so as others have mentioned you are given 7 days to setup an appointment and not to complete it. Its faster to call them to get an appointment

@saria1 so it might not be the amount of time it takes to issue the visa I was very bummed out

We are hoping to go in progress in July and couple of months after that. Hopefully soon..

I NEED HELP!!!

So I got my passport request last week and I have been very ill so I was unable to send it in last week. Yesterday I went to the Canada post website for my return label and to be honest i really do not understand how to purchase one. Can someone please tell me what to or how to navigate the webiste to be able to purchase a label? My goal is to send my passport tomorrow express.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me. Ill appreciate any help i can get.

Thanks, we prepared ourselves for it as interview was short and VO was negative. She say I her refusal email that there were major differences in age, religion, culture and mentality. Marriage not genuine she declared.
We did our best to address these issues already, but in the interview she answer her own questions. She ask about my family and laughs at my brothers names like it's a joke. Like we there for her amusement. She clearly.had her.mind made up before the interview. She said I don't work. Been working for same.company for 22 years. Most of that full time. But since august 2014 I am casual. It affords me good cash and long travel. She told my husband she didn't know his family. She say he's poor and wants to come to Canada just to work. Isn't that the main point of all of the other programs at cic? She dosent take remaining proof. There was lots to begin with. And I travel to Morocco every two to three months. Staying a month or month and half. Once I stay almost 7 months.
She give completely different interview with another couple That morning with similar story. But that's okay. We won't stop because one person said no. We want to LivE together, buy a home in each country and have a family. Our own kids or adopt. And more travel. Own a business and help unfortunate people.
