Hi everyone :)

-I submitted an Outland Sponsorship Application on October 30th, 2014. My boyfriend is from the UK (England), so I assume our abroad processing office should be London. I am from Quebec, Canada.

-CIC made a mistake and had it registered as an inland sponsorship application (so very annoying). (My boyfriend is currently living IN Canada, but we chose outland because processing times were faster and his current visa expires on June 27th, 2015.). I called CIC call centre, who said they would let CPC Mississauga know to switch my application from Inland to Outland.

-1 month later, I received a new AOR and a few days later I received my Sponsor Approval: I assumed the switch had been made.

AOR:

"You have met the eligibility as a Sponsor. Accordingly the Application for PR for your relative has been retained for further processing at CPC Mississauga."

Why has it been retained in Mississauga and not forwarded to London Visa Office?

Do you think it's possible that I'm still registered as Inland?

Or are they waiting to receive my CSQ approval before forwarding it?

Is Mississauga processing Outland Sponsorship applications now?

So many questions! Any help would be appreciated! I wish everyone who sent their own applications the best of luck!

Hello. Mississauga visa office has been keeping applications which would normally go to London. This is normal behaviour, do not worry!

If you look in my forum signature there is a link to a spreadsheet which tracks applications for outland applicants via London. Last year we started tracking applications which were kept in Mississauga or sent to Ottawa (Ottawa keeps some applications too).

Would you like to be added to the spreadsheet?

If so I need the following info:
-Date application received in Mississauga
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email)
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!

Thanks so much for the response! I'd like to be added :)

-Application was received as CPC Mississauga October 29th, 2014
-Applied as Commonlaw
-Sponsor approval received today: 25/02/2015
-Phase 2 visa office: Mississauga
-No other requests
-He is from the UK, so he is visa exempt for up to 6 months I believe?
-We are living together in Montreal at the moment, but his visa is up on June 27th so will either switch to visitor status or go back to England/abroad until PR is processed!

Yeah but there was so many restrictions there and she was not a free bird like in France & Amsterdam.

There are a lot of Indians on this forum.

Hello people!
Lets keep this forum active, or we'll slip down the pages.
Many of us have SA and some of us have AOR2, and some really lucky souls have IP even! :)
But for the rest of us, it's going to be a few months before we hear anything!

Weekends are the most annoying because we know that nothing's going to happen.

I'm going for the Ed Sheeran concert tomorrow so I have something to look forward to! :P
Have a good weekend, everyone! :)
