Miss Representation, I am the sponsor and I called CIC yesterday; the agent could'nt see anything about my file. He said that everything looks good but no SA yet. That I have to wait.And today I received SA.
You know how unhelpful they might be. Just be positive.
I am sure you will hear someting today or tomorrow.
Are you both in Canada?

We also did out medicals upfront and got SA lat week and it show medicals received and it was updated about 3 days after, if you had got your SA Dec 11th it should have been updated by now, your best bet would be to call the CIC

So I sent CIC an email recarding the medicals and they responded the next day saying they did receive the medicals. Le sigh! Something else I don't need to worry about! One step closer! I just miss my husband so much!

That's great! Do you see "Medicals received" on you Ecas now?

changing your name in your passport won't cause your application to be deined. to avoid delays in processing you will want to get the new passport done ASAP and send a copy to the visa office, assuming your file has been transferred if you'v received SA.

Hi all, might be a dumb question but where do I send an email to CIC. I got my SA on Jan 16th and medicals were done in July 2014. ECAS does not show any information about the medicals. Neither does my SA document.

Hello everyone!

I would like to verify this information. I have a visitor record that expires in March, but my visitor's visa expires in 2020. I am applying for a work permit the the NYC office, and that might come after my visitor record expires. Will I be considered out of status if don't get new visitor record?

I think everyone is still waiting to get AOR from their VO though not all VO provides AOR2
