Please Help!!
Hey guys i wanted to make sure of something here, when i re-submitted an updated form IMM 1344 I wrote a note with it stating my file number, my name and date of birth, but unfortunately I forgot to attach the email letter from CIC of the request, will they be able to find my file and consider the updated forms with my original application?

I used this mailing address as stated in my email from CIC, is this the right one? Has anyone used this mailing address to submit requested forms?

Since you mentioned the file number etc I am sure they will be able to connect their initial application to the update form.

Hi Everyone,

I've applied for Family Class Sponsorship (from India) and my sponsor is my husband in Canada.

My husband sent the application on October 10th 2014 to CPC-M and we've not got any email confirming it.
On another forum, I was told that this is normal and I should wait for the 44th day, by then we should get SA.

So all those who are feeling restless cuz they haven't heard from CIC, I'm in that boat too, I'm sure they'll contact us soon.

This person will not say thank you, they haven't the time for you; they feel as though they are of "Privileged" class helping lower class. LMAO... you can see by how this person "Trolls" the forum.

Obviously they weren't able to find the answer! Hence asking "6" different times. Does it make you feel better to pick on people? Perhaps ANSWERING the question next time...and JUST answering would help. You are no better than anyone here. Actually, the people HERE will move on after they've landed. 2012 is a long time to think your better than someone in a thread. GET a life man.

Just to be clear I was just making sure why the question is posted in multiple threads and the person isnt being a troll.


If I though I was better than than one else why would I still be helping out in the forum since 2011; so stop attacking.

Yes I've updated the excel sheet.
And it DOES seem like it's happening fast at NDVO.
Many people are reporting the process completion within 6-8 months.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my prayers at an all time high.

Got SA today. We are so happy . Initially sent application on 2 Sep 2014 and sent updated form on 14 Oct 2014

That's great news. Looks like they are still processing applications from Sept 15.

When the CIC website says 44 days for SA, does it mean 44 for them to approve you as a sponsor or 44 after they send you an acknowledgement of having received application?

It means 44 days to be approved as a sponsor. Give it a couple of days either side. I received my sponsor approval in 42 days whereas some have to wait closer to 50 days. Some are still waiting long after 50.
