I couldn't agree more. :'( I'm on day 75/76 now but still nothing.NO AOR, NO SA. My husband called CIC and they couldn't even give us any confirmation whether they did receive our papers or not on the date Canada Post gave us. They asked us to call again after 2 weeks if we still don't hear anything from them. This is really frustrating. :-\

Do not worry misis_j. Me and my wife are in the same boat as you. 79 days since application received (according to canada post). I called CIC yesterday and they could not give me any information. Asked me to call back in 2 weeks.

Good thing is it can be any moment now. Fingers crossed. Hope everyone gets to hear the good news pretty soon.

Hey..my husband is in canada&im in pakistan..we filed our application in nov 2014 n got an email that they hav recieved our file on 17 dec 2014 and now we hav got email on 8th jan 2015 that our file is transferred to london for further process...kindly guide me wat wil happen next??plzzz guide??

So, now they have started processing Nov applications before finishing Oct ones like ours on 10/22....hmmm my bad luck I would call.

I felt like in Sept they jumped on Oct files before they finished out their month. I'm assuming they hand out the files in batches to the individual employees. So it sounds like you and I are with a slow employee and some of the other fast employees finished their Oct batches and are moving on to November files... All speculation, but the only logical explanation to their rhyme and reason.

Hi guys,

Got my AOR with file number over the phone today
They said the file is still in the queue to be processed. But the fact that they received it, brought some hope to us.

Its funny, because 2 days ago when I called they said they don't have any info on me and I should call back in 2 weeks. I just tried my luck again today and the call center agent
was really nice and did all she could to get the information.

Anyways, I hope we all get SA soon

Applied Outland from USA Apr2014...case notes indicate the application has been sitting on someone desks since Aug2014...appears everything but the medical is reviewed...looks like Case Manager has asked twice the status of the reviewed and was told it was in the line to be reviewed...Nothing since August...I have no doubt this is going to take 28 months from the date Sponsership was approved which was June2014...I read some people can't even afford to pay off their debts in the USA and they are getting approvals and have landed...this process is disheartening...really...

are you a us citizen or resident? it is a very odd case that a us citizen application from april is still not "in process". most 2014 us citizen applicants have been approved in 6 mo or less (see the ottawa visa office spreadsheet in my signature below). are there red flags that may prompt an interview, any dependant issue, criminality issue, or any requests received from CIC? and no, it's not going to take 28 months. i'm not even sure where you are getting that number. if you are talking about files in la, the "real time" stat on those files is 12-16 months.

I called cic this morning and they don't have any information about my application and an agent told me if there's no news yet before the end of the month, I should call back again. , Originally I sent my application on September and they asked for the updated form after about 25 days, so I submitted it on October 28th and haven't got any news yet even an AOR. It is so stressful to go through this, everyday checking my email and got nothing.

no, ecas generally doesn't start working until AFTER sponsor approval, unless you have had a previous application with cic.

is that sponsor's UCI or they created for Sponsored (principal applicant)?

in my email, it was sponsor's UCI
