OCTOBER 2014 OUTLAND APPLICATIONS!

Hi guys my wife submit my application at 14 november 2014 and in site says they r worming on 14october should i wait for 14 nov applixations? And it 32 days from submiting how much more i should wait ?

There is a November thread, if you want to have a look over there. I can say I'm 16 days before you, and still haven't received SA, most of us in the October thread are still waiting for our SA. Good luck!

Hi Everyone,

My husband called the CIC call centre again yesterday to ask about SA (we submitted on 10/10/2014)
He was told that they "officially received" the file only on 17/10/2014 (One whole week after UPS confirmed it was delivered on 10/10) :-X
And so it will only be processed with the Oct 17th batch of files. :-[
But they did acknowledge that the file was received. (Phew!)
Furthermore, he was told to call "after two weeks" when our file will be in process. (that seems to be their standard response as he's already been told that thrice)
I have given up hope of getting SA before the year ends and until well into january as all the VOs will take their holidays around this time. :'(

Sorry for being the bringer of grim news!

I hope this doesn't hold true for many of you, at least some of us should get SAs in timeframe they mentioned..

I guess you can take it as a good news and rest your mind at the file has been received and it might be hopefully in queue to be processed.
I am still confident we will hear back by this month end or first week of Jan.

We got a request for more information today. So that's good! It means they got it.

Stupidly, we did not realize that we needed to send in a Background Application form because the application is to sponsor my husband's 12 year old son.

That is good news that your file has been received and being processed.

I was just wondering, the status on eCas shows 'decision made' under sponsor application and 'application received' under PR application. Should it have a line for 'medicals received' also? It's making me quite paranoid that it isn't. The medical was done in May 2014.

Did you click on the "application received" section of the applicant? Ours reads: 1) application for PR was received and 2) medicals were received.

If you don't see that, I would chase

As said above you should definitely call them and ask about the medicals not showing up.

Just got off the phone with them. The lady told me that eCAS isn't necessarily updating every time something happens and told me that I should wait a couple of weeks for them to start working on it and then ask LVO if it's been received or not. I've only received SA last Wednesday so maybe I should wait a bit and then inquire?
What does everyone think?

55 days from re-submission of the first docs on oct.23rd
and 12 days from 2nd time of re-submission on dec.5th

haven't herd anything from them yet..

What date do you guys think they start working on since its been 7 days from working on oct 14 according to processing times online, im worried whether i will hear anything this week?

Hi Violet11, I think you can rest assured that you've received SA! My status says the same thing, I've received my SA letter through email (sounds like you're only getting it through the post though?) and there is an Application Received marked for my partner, the PA. They have received his medicals and his application, just like yours. Now we wait for request for more docs or the magical "In Process" to show up on our file!

I am not sure how it works if they request addition docs or updated form. I dont think they reset the days but I would presume you should be on top of the pile.

Since you just received SA this week (congrats) I would think its better to wait for them to update your record on ecas and dont be worried about the medicals for now until they contact you.

Also we have seen cases where they request you do another medical - DONT do it until re-requested.
