I got my Sponsorship Approval today! Only took 14 days. They sent me an email with the pdf attachement of the letter. I still cant check my status online but I'm glad to hear back from them so soon!

Mizzdanish: have you done your medical examination yet? if yes, when was that?

CanadianWife13: When did cic received your application? you've sent me a PM but with no date. should I consider the date you sent me a PM?

Tj777: any news about your application? I have no details yet. Please update us...

hi osdamour..no update yet we just sent it last week.i dont know how many months the sponsor approval.i hope it will not take a month so that by next month it can be forward to manila office.

I posted this on the September thread but it might help you guys as well:

I got ECAS updated last week (on Oct 17) saying that they made a decision related to the Sponsor Approval on Oct 10 and that they sent a letter; I thought they sent a physical letter because it was taking so long, but it was not until today that we got an email with the SA.
So even though they may have made a decision, there was a 10 day delay until they send the email. (I guess pressing 'send email' must be very complicated in their system ).

Anyway, don't freak out like me if this happens to you

On my letter that I got today it was dated 11th October. Which means they opened my documents 3 days after it arrived. Crazy.
