I did my medicals in advance on 20th march..but ecas status still says application received!!
just pay your Rprf in advance ( which is refundable) and you can even send biodata too...

Regarding PR fee, CIC replied that they will inform me once it is required. So, it seems that paying fee beforehand is not the best idea....

I am also thinking of waiting for the CIC response.

But it is almost 2 months from the date I got my Medical request and RCMP request. This wait time is killing me.
Also it is more than a week since I sent a mail to CIC for this query, no response as of now..

If you are not sending anything different than what you have emailed them, I think it won't be of any value to send them same documents through mail as well.

NOC:4154 Latest Ecas Status....App received

Upfront Medicals: 18 March

MR: (May 25) Sent scanned copy of IMM 1017-B on may 27 Confirmation of receiving on may 28th
RCMP: (May 27) Sent on June 1st Received June 4th confirmed according to GCMS

Sent (July 16): Query on my application status and asked if they've sent me the RPRF and Bio-data form??
Reply (July 19): We cant find RPRF receipt so please resend it!!
Sent (July 22): Sent RPRf receipt via email and mentioned that there is no attachment of Bio-data form
Reply (July 23): Bio-data form attachment
Sent (July 24): Sent it via Email

No updates after!!

And I have received my family's passports today ( sooooo relieved ;D)....My friend brought it without having any problem (my wife had authorized her to carry it)



On @nd page of my GCMS notes it says some consignment assignment is due on July 27, 2013...Lets hope for the best[flash=200,200][/flash]

Btw, I have been waiting for almost 2 months now. Sounds like we have similar timelines for MR and RCMP request.

Sometimes they don't acknowledge the receipt of additional documents right away. if you don't hear back from them in a week - 10 days, just send them a follow up email to ask if the documents were added to your file. I am sure they will respond.

I sent 2012 T4 and NOA by email and asked them to acknowledge once they attach my additional docs.
Got an email after 10 days saying it's attached.

Hello friends,

Want to share some info:

I emailed Cic to know if they sent me the RPRF or biodata email and I deleted it by accident...

I got an email back and they mentioned that they never got my rprf receipt and told me to resend it.

Then I paid it online and sent the scanned copy of receipt + I mentioned that I never got the biodata form as an attachment and I request to send it again.

I got another email with the Biodata form attachment and I sent it back right away.

So I think that move worked for me

So I hope I get PPR soon!!
