Yeah just surprising that they contacted you for additional med requirements prior to your ppr- who contacted you by the way is it the CEM or the clinic? Because if it's the CEM it means they already have our medical records before the ppr.

its the CEM. thru snail mail received last november 23 (had my med test last sept 23). that was way back before we even got the sponsor's approval. but i have to wait for a medical result (the addl med test) which was due yesterday. thats why i called up st. lukes to know whether they will automatically relay my result to CEM and go on with the processing. unfortunately, they will do some "endorsements" regarding that one test which will take almost a week pa daw.

OMG here i was checking my email everyday waiting and waiting for a response from CIC-M and here they didn't send me email lol, just today i look in my mail and there it was in my mail saying i was APPROVED and the file is being transferred.

Date on letter was December 28, 2011 YAYYYYYYYYYY

i just checked my ecas and this what it says

We received your application to sponsor Elreen Hewitt on October 24, 2011.

We sent you a letter on December 28, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

but the next part not sure what it means?

Permanent Residence
We received Elreen Hewitt's application for permanent residence on October 24, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

Does that mean the application is already in Manila now and they already have the medical results from DMP or is just saying that is being sent and since has the Appendix thingy for doctor with the application that ............?

we filed in the same and recieve at the same day..jan. 10 recieve manila office..jan.27 passport request and some minor form to fill up and asking for photos..have u heard anything from ur file?

that's really frustrating sis. i thought they will send the result right away to CEM but unfortunately, maybe in cases like addt'l tests, they need endorsement before they can send your test result to CEM and maybe they are sending it by batch. just make yourself busy for now and don't over-think about it so you won't get frustrated i'm sure mr. postman with your PPR will surprise you one of these days

I cant thank you guys enough for the support. I guess theres no other way but to keep myself busy. hopefully it wont take them too long to pass my result. sana magawa nila less than a week and di na rin magtagal ang decision sa CEM considering 1 month na yung docs namin sa kanila. PPR will come soon... sana this month.

Anyway balita kagad pag may dumating na visa ha? para pag boost lang ng confidence! hehehe!

Ya, mine was transferred to Ankara.

Hi Roham. I was just browsing various threads and I came across your post. I was wondering how you know that your application was sent to Ankara? Were you informed about it or are you just guessing? And plus, have you had any communication through Ankara VO? Is it going to take you 5 months to get PR?

The reason I am asking all these questions is that I filed my application on Jan. 2012 from Iran and am wondering what the next step would be. I have yet to receive any kind of communication from CIC-Mississauga.
