Hi! My husband sent the app from Calgary on October 1 and was received in CIC-M October 5. Hoping soon for sponsorship approval and off to Manila office. Please add me to the spreadsheet. k

I sent in our application to the Mississauga office on Oct 24th, and they received it on Oct 26th. It's exciting to finally have it completed, but the waiting part is brutal! I keep worrying that I forgot to fill in a date or something.

yaayyy i got my first email from cic.gc.ca stating that they have received my application for PR on october 11th, 2011. my first email from them let hope for good....its all because of grace of god....thank u god....let me know if something u guys received....

The email you received from CIC-M (I presume) seems to be out of the ordinary. It is my understanding that the first contact from CIC would normally be confirmation of sponsorship approval... Is the email you received come from from VO abroad?

from what I've been reading in the forum, this is the first time someone receives acknowledgment from CPC-M re. application. Interesting!
