it' s weird , on the website they updated that they are working on applications received on October 27th 2011 and yours was received on oct 31st 2011 , you got your approval today ! mine was also received on october 31st ! i hope this E mail comes fast !

I think they know that if they update to the latest case they're working on, they'll get buried in calls, so I think they rather underwhelm us with early dates.

Thanks all I'm feeling very lucky... It is good news because I am leaving soon to see my husband in Kenya... Maybe they did it quickly because they know I have a 30 month wait for Nairobi office I can only hope that wait will be shortened too !!

Hello everyone it's been a while i didn't visit the site got quite busy regarding my application to my husband embassy asked for additional information
but finally I got my approval today i received email from CIC that i am eligible to sponsor. It's an answered prayer ..

I'm still waiting as well. My husband decided to call and they told him they are backlogged and to give them 3 weeks. By the way what is the e-mail address for CIC?

ask your husband to call every alternate date and the reason why it is taking too much time. For me It worked. A call center agent, she is veryyy nice and told me the she is going to send an email about the cause of uncessary delay on Jan 3 and Jan4 I got the approval by email. I think they totally forgot my application as they were waiting for some information before.
One more thing, don't beleive a call center agent, call several times and you will see their answer doesn't match. If you get similar answer from different people, then only you can beleive them. It was very much true for my case. All the best for you.
