OCI spouse name

In my present passport the name of spouse is after marriage name. But her current passport has her before marriage name. Also i have received surrender certificate recently now im confused in oci what name goes under spouse name. In marriage certificate the name can be matched but somewhere i read the name of spouse should be same as her current passport ? So will there be a problem ?

I think you can put the same name as in your Indian passport.
spouse passport, marriage certificate are required documents only in case of OCI Application on Indian origin Spouse basis.
