Hello Friends,
I am in the process of beginning the journey, at step one of preparing expression of interest. I have two questions that I would really find helpful if anyone can shed some clarity:

1. How do I work out what is the Occupation in Demand roles and responsibilities that would match my NOC ? Where or how can I get more information in this category?
For eg my NOC is 10010 which is Finance. For SINP where can I find the Occupation in Demand pdf that would help me understand what are the roles required and whether this aligns with my current work experince.

2. For Police Clearance certificate, once issued, is there a validity period? If yes, does anyone know how long validity lasts?

Also, if this question has been asked already and replied, apologies for repeating and if anyone can post link to that answer I would again appreciate it. I am going through all pages but 200+ threads is taking long time...

Hoping someone answers your question, these days no one on here really wants to help. Everyone is becoming selfish man.

1. Your job responsibilities must match your NOC (around 70%). For SINP, look at past draws as the NOCs with the SINP scores are posted. This gives you an idea of a) whether your NOC is selected and b) what the SINP score is for each draw. If you are going through OID that means you are not eligible for Express Entry, correct? What is your CRS score? Your NOC must match your education for SINP.
2. Police Certificate depends on the situation. here is the link and explains certain situations.

Thank you so much for replying. You mentioned that job responsibilities much match the NOC, is there any place that gives information on the job responsibilities that would give an idea of what makes a close match to the NOC?

The ESDC NOC database lists all the NOCs with job responsibilities and education requirements.
