i soakville a city or town??? does it come under toronto??? i know that it is in ontario but dont know the status...

I don't know much about Canada.
But it does sound like it is a town on its own but in what is called the greater Toronto metropolitan area. The greater Toronto metropolitan area is probably not the same as the City of Toronto.

I am guessing all this without knowing anything about Canada.

It's a town just south of Mississauga. Accessible by Highway 401/403 from Toronto (45 minutes). It does come under the umbrella of GTA (Greater Toronto Area).
