My wife has recently got approved with an open work permit and TRV from India because I am working in Canada. We have already started the process of RN in Nova Scotia. but she will be coming to Canada in few weeks, the RN processing will take long time. so I wanted to know how can she start working here as a nurse or nursing assistant when she reach here. do we need any kind of registration for that or we can just apply for a job and start working? Does she need her certificates to be varified or translated to Canadian standard before applying? please help me..

No - she can't just start working as a nurse or nursing assistant. She will need to be certified in Canada before she can take on a nursing related job. See here for more information:
