I am very confused, if I should include English Prep classes for the "Number of years of education" on "Generic Application Form".

I studied 1 year English prep class during my high school study and 1 year during university study, makes 2 years of English study in total. It makes 17 years in total. But I am not sure if I should exclude English class years, which will make 15 years.

Do you have any idea? Advice from veterans will be appreciated.

If those classes are not from Govt. recognized college/Univ.. . then you cant count that.

The schools were recognized. 1 prep class year belongs to one of the high schools I attended. The other prep class belongs to university study. Those were the school's mandatory prep classes. And both schools were recognized schools.

I know they are not any good for point calculation on immigration. I just want not to put wrong data on the form. Generic Application is the most important one. What I did is, I wrote 15 years education (excluded the prep class years). I attached an additional paper under the form, saying, my study years are 17 years including prep classes. When the prep classes aren't added, it is 15 years. Is that good enough?

I don't want my application be rejected just because of a small detail. :(

When I said Govt Approved college.. I mean the certificate issued (for those 1 year class) is a proper course if not then you cant count them...

but if you have sufficient points without including these 2 years.. then better leave them...
