For all of you Oct 13 applicants waiting for the AOR, afraid that something went wrong, here is a little story that will cheer you up.

In summary there are not the Ryans, Thomases, Mikes ...., who are important in you citizenship application processing but you need to engage someone with higher ranks.

Canadians read this **** and assume every goddamn immigrant to this country is a billionaire exploiting loopholes to get citizenship and start howling about how we need stronger immigration laws. And some politicians will be happy to oblige...

I really, really can't wait to be done with this immigration business and never have to worry about my status in this country (or have to care about some xenophobic Joe Schmoe's hot take on how Canada should reform its immigration system).

Did Mr. Said obtain his Canadian citizenship via misrepresentation? If not, I have no problem with his becoming a citizen.

The fact that he rented a basement apartment as his "primary residence" even though he never lived in it, but lived in luxury hotels instead, is, IMO, no basis for rejecting his application.
