I think this is report submitted in parliament for 2014. This report is for accepting applications for 2014, not 2015. I saw total around 52k for expresss entry.

Few Siily Qs, as I was depressed ..couldn't make it to FSW14 because of one document .. so coming back in the business

1. My Application was received in Nov 2014, but cap of 2171 was already filled. Are they going to return my file or they are going to consider for express entry. It has been 5 months now, I am waiting for my file. Sent them email as well

2. Now coming to new Scoring ..Couldn't calculate more than 250..m i doing something wrong

Yup, very close to what I think the scores will be.

In my view..

Draw 7 - 426 10th April 1700 ITA

Draw 8 - 398 24th April 1800 ITA

Draw 9 - 372 15th May 3400 ITA

Draw 10 - 348 29th May 3450 ITA

Draw 11 - 330 12th June 3600 ITA

There was different cap set last year. The cap that they set at beginning 2014 was reduced in May 2014 in preparation for Express Entry 2015.
In May 2014, the cap limit was renewed making 25k with each NOC cap limit at 1k. They mentioned as to support expected admission in 2015. i.e. Applications received from May 2014 are expected to processed in 6 months time (as a trial run processing in preparation for EE application processing) and those successful applicant is expected to enter Canada in 2015.

I'm afraid no one knows. Just have to wait and watch the draws. Hopefully the CRS cutoff continues to fall steadily.

Below is web link with paragraph name. Pl read it, it mentioned that they have decided in May 2014 meeting that for the 2015 EE CIC will accept maximum 25K applications. Means we can assume that 25K is the capacity of CIC per year.

Table 1 presents the 2015 immigration levels plan, which outlines the anticipated number of permanent residents that will be admitted to Canada during the year. In 2015, the overall planned admission range is 260,000 to 285,000 people. The distribution among immigration programs is designed to support several objectives, including supporting Canada’s economy, reuniting families, and meeting humanitarian goals. The date of draw was like many have predicted, but looks like everything else were a little disappointing. Draw was on April 10th, but score cut off was 469 and only 925 invitations were sent. More details are in W w i c s groups blog:- wwicsgroup.com/7th-express-entry-draw-canadian-pr-conducted . I had a score of 451 and thought this time I will get it. I was disappointed, but the positive is that it has come closer and hopes are high for next draw.
