This is because most of our applications are in background checks which may take up to 6 months as Canada wants to make sure that all the new applicants must be genuine visitors not assylum seekers or frauds etc.

And if they wants to refuse you , you might got the letter within one month. But they accepted your TRV for further processing. I considered this as a positive sign so be patient and wait for the decision. Hope you will get the desired result.
