Got my test invite today. How do I prep for it? Is the Discover Canada book sufficient?

Hi,
Yes the book is sufficient. You can read it 3-4 times and practise some questions to test your knowledge. No need to listen to 3hrs+ YouTube videos or 500+ questions (I did that and thought it was not necessary. But everyone has a different view).

91 days since the worst office Scarborough received my passport pages and no update.

May I know if you have completed the citizenship test and background check?

I have also received citizenship test invitation (window: 25th July - August 15th). My background check was completed on 15th July.

November 1st applicant.
AOR 31st January.

quick update: Citizenship test shows completed today (Took the test on 18 July. 3 days total) but everything everything else still shows In progress. Good to see some progress hopefully doesn't freeze for another 9 months.

I keep getting those ghost updates but nothing changes. Last ghost update was July 12th, but nothing after that. Any idea what's going on?

One question.

Is there any case of anyone being asked to take in-person interview after successful completion of online citizenship test?

I am wondering because I am planning to travel outside Canada after taking the scheduled test next week.

Or, would it be possible to take an online interview, e.g., on a Zoom or MS Teams call.

Maybe you could try an MP on the other side. Oops, I don't think they like Immigrants much. Not everything is politics. Just saying.
