ah that's so weird.

I think everything is connected to my long absence.
I took the test online while I was abroad, right before all steps became completed I got an email from an officer to prove that I'm abroad, so I replied with flight tickets. Then he asked when I'm planning to return. We actually should have been to Canada by that time, but due to family issues, we postponed everything and decided to stay longer. So I just told him we will return in the coming fall. One day after this conversation all pending steps became completed and we got the next update in December to attend an interview.

Just curious, your old ecas showed Decision made ?

Is it risky to take a trip once everything is completed except oath? What time frame do you get between everything being completed except the oath and the actual oath turning to in progress and getting an invite to appear for it?

Not risky. I got an oath invite and I asked them to postpone it as my trip was more important. I got back, emailed them proof, emailed again in 2 weeks asking for a new oath date and got put on an oath in 2 weeks.

Postponing the oath is always an option if the trip is more important. They do not punish you for it.

Did you try calling them. what was their response..??
Same old response that application is in queue for processing if anything needed will get back to you, ATIP said fingerprint needed so I sent it just to take a chance

Finally had an update yesterday.
A year after taking the test, I need now to attend an interview on April 12th. My wife did not have this request.
I don't know if I should be happy that there is an update, or be worried because of the interview.
Any thoughts ?
Thank you
I just received the instructions, They are asking me to send scans of all my passeport pages including the blank ones. I'll have to translate some pages to french/english as well. They are also requesting to have all the documents sent in my application ready the day of the interview.

I called them today and was told that my finger prints have expired (1 year validity). If they need another one then they will send a request but right now they are not able to see a request for a 2nd finger print in place. They do not have an ETA for this as the application is in progress.

Very frustrating..!!

Pls. do keep us informed on how it goes for you..

Interesting, ya its been a waiting game and unpredictable, don't want to risk more wait times. Do you know the time it took to be complete on the tracker till you received an email to appear for oath?
