If your employment changes, i.e. you move to another employer, you have to update this with IRCC. However, if it is only a promotion or a change within your organization, you do not need to.

However, if the contact information of your employer has changed, including the information of your supervisor who wrote the work reference letter, you will have to update it with IRCC. This is done so that IRCC is aware and in case they contact your employer, they have the most updated information.
thank you so much for the advice, @legalfalcon
Always very helpful! :)

Hi friends,
To update new passport of a dependent, should we provide the primary applicant info in the IRCC webform or only the dependent details with his UCI number? Can anyone please update? Thanks!

Hi Everyone!

My Timeline as below:

  • NOC - 2172
  • Stream - FSW-Outland
  • AOR - November 25, 2019
  • Medical Passed - December 05, 2019
  • Biometric Request - December 5, 2019
  • Biometric Completed - December 9, 2019
  • RPRF was paid upfront

BGS was in false IP2 since medicals cleared, status changed to IP1 on December 19, 2019, no updates since then.

Let me know what you all think of the stage I might be in and the ways to contact IRCC (from outside canada, calling numbers, options to select and other specifics if possible) for status updates from the agents.

Cheers! :)

Hi,

We are a family of three 2 x Adults, 1 x Child. Alberta EEPNP, previously worked in Canada as a Registered Nurse. Timeline as below.

AOR - 2nd November 2019
Medicals Passed - 11th November 2019
Biometrics Request - 27th November 2019
Biometrics Completed 27th December 2019
RPRF Request - 3rd December 2019
RPRF Paid - 4th December 2019

We seem to be in IP2 at the moment, no update since our biometrics on 27th December. We were hoping to have our visas for March/April so we can go for a preliminary trip to look at homes/schools etc.

Does all of this mean we are near to the end of the process??
