Please read the page 1 of this forum...means the processing is about to start for the rest of the three stages which according to IRCC web page, usually takes 6months from AOR.
-------------
As per the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, regulations and the ministeral instructions every application goes through the following stages:

R10 (Completeness check)
Medicals
Criminality
A11.2 Eligibility (The most important stage)
Security

My timeline so far

- 06 Nov. 2019: AOR

- 27 Nov. 2019: When I logged in, I noticed the current status was "Application/profile updated". On viewing the full application status, I noticed the following two changes: (A) Medical result: Passed; (B) Background check: Changed from "Not Applicable" to "We are processing your background check."

- 28 Nov. 2019: Received email, "Your application has been updated." But, when I logged in, I did not see any changes.

- 11 Dec. 2019: Ghost update. When I logged in, current status was "Application/profile updated".

Biometrics were not required for inland applicants until the system was established in Canada.
The system went online Dec 3, 2019 (2 weeks ago).

I'm guessing that any inland applications made before Dec 2019 do NOT need Biometrics, new applicants will receive an e-mail requesting for it.
Hi Gabriel, are you able to confirm that those of us who submitted before December 3rd don't need to give biometrics? or do we have to pay the fee and book an appointment for it now asap? or we wait to hear from IRCC? thank you!

You don't need to pay the fee and book an appointment unless you hear from IRCC.
