Hi All, I got my oath invite today by physical mail. No emails, which I find weird. Date of the pink letter is Sep 05, and Oath is on Sep 23 at 1:15pm at Museum of Contemporary Arts. Everybody waiting to hear from Scarborough, go check your mail boxes!

It’s not weird. You have been invited to a special oath ceremony. Read your invitation carefully. It is not a regular ceremony and you should consider yourself lucky since only a few get invited to these. There will be refreshments for you and your guests and the media will be there and your photos will be taken I think it is in collaboration with ICC and your picture may be posted on their website so you have to sign consent form

Oh Yes, you are right. I re-read the invite and it does say there is a special roundtable hosted by Institute for Canadian citizenship prior to the oath, then a celebratory reception after, including refreshments, photographs and cake.

I did not check my ecas since my test. Ecas still says DM, but with a new line now added:
5. We sent you a notice on September 5, 2019 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on September 23, 2019 at 1:15 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us
