Hi everyone..
i have a question n i hope that someone could help.
So looking at the oath ceremonies from the official website, I don’t see any ceremonies for Ottawa after April 12th till end of May NOTHING.. while other areas already have been updated with different dates for the second half of April n May..
Could Ottawa really not have any ceremonies from the 12th of April till end of May?? Or could it just be not updated? But all other areas have been.. according to the website all dates r updated byweekly.

Hello Friends ,this what i got today from Winnipeg -office ,the agent is so cooperative ,depending on his email,it seems like i will do Test and Ceremony within one or maximum 2 days ,and i should expect to get Test Invite and Ceremony letter together on May 13, 14, and 15,they are waiting just confirmation of Thunder bay about which day in May ,hope Mississauga sends my file soon ,this what i got today

Hello again,

I have asked Mississauga to send your file to us. I will make note that you would like to have your test and ceremony in Thunder Bay.

I understand they are waiting for the final confirmation of the dates from the venue in Thunder Bay. I think we should hear soon. If you want to hold off speaking to your manager about the time until I have the confirmation, I will let you know when it is confirmed.

Since you have to travel to Thunder Bay we should be able to make arrangements so that your testing and ceremony should happen close together, the same day or just over one night.

I will let you know when our dates of travel are confirmed. They are likely to be May 13, 14, and 15.

Regards,
Good news, excellent.

Sent in my application on November 9th, when I had 1098 days completed in Canada.
Got the AOR on January 29th
Test date intimation sent on 28th feb.
Test date: March 26, 2019
ECAS updated as ‘decision made’ on April 2nd - but no details whether it was accepted or rejected.

I lost my passport and pr card and took the police report number to them, so wasn’t sure whether my application will be accepted, so called cic in the morning to check whether the decision was positive or negative.

The agent confirmed that my file is ‘ceremony ready’ but I should still wait for the mail. He wasn’t sure whether I will get an email or physical mail.

So have been checking my email and ECAS every half hour

Cannot wait to get the final update!

Are they sending out emails for the ceremony? I got an email for the test date confirmation.

Approximately how long after the ‘decision made’ update do we get that mail (physical or electronic)? Any idea??

Thanks in advance!
They can not reject your application without giving you an opportunity of being heard, as such it is imperative on their part to give you a notice as per Rules of Procedural Fairness. This "decision made" is subject to your oath ceremony and your obligation to maintain PR status and criminal record check.

Hello NOV Thread,

I am NOT technically NOV applicant as my application was returned because I forgot to submit the Birth Certificate of my daughter. So I submitted it in Jan end so I am Jan applicant now.

However I would like to thanks this group as I was worried that time when application came back.

I just returned it with the document required and also I sent them all the forms again as well with sign and date when I sent them back.

I do not know which forms they considered but I got AOR finally on April 1st.

I can see here Nov batch already moved on with Decisions made but no worries. I will still follow this thread for sometime and Jan thread as well.

Canada Visa forum always helped me.
