I will be eligible to apply in March end. Based on the tracker sheets, I believe applications have been taking about 4-5 months from submission to test date. The processing time on CIC website shows 12 months though.

Lol u r reading the spreadsheet wrong. Yes thete are peope who get test invite within4-5 months but majority does not look at the percentage of people who got test invite at top. Based on ur location processing time can vary greatl7 from few months to over a year. That is why avg is given as 12 months

I passed my test on March 15 and was waiting for DM. But, I received fingerprint request today.
Please update the spreadsheet to reflect this.

And can someone let me know where to get the fingerprints done near Yonge/Eglinton area?

Thanks in advance.

Just received an email from IRCC. Has anyone received something like this? what is it?

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is conducting and evaluation to better understand the experiences of newcomers to Canada in learning and using English and French. IRCC is looking for participants to help with this project.

Volunteers willing to participate in this project will have to be available two full days (from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm), one in March, and another in July. During both days, participants will be asked to complete tests to assess four English language competencies: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

The first testing date is Saturday March 30 2019, and the second testing date is Saturday July 20 2019. Volunteers must be available to attend both test sessions. Test will be held at the Toronto District School Board located at 1470 Don Mills Rd., 2nd floor, Toronto (ON), M3B 2X9. IRCC is working with the Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks on this project and they are responsible for the test administration.

As a thank you, participants will receive a $50 Loblaws gift card for attending the first test on March 30th, and a $100 Loblaws gift card for attending the second test on July 20th.

To register for the test, please go to the following website: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/understanding-language-progression-4-ircc-evaluation-toronto-tickets-59007323493.

Please do not forward this link to others as participation to this event is by invitation only.

Your participation in this project is extremely important. The results of this exercise will be used to improve language training services for immigrants in the future.

If you agree to participate, your answers will be combined with information that you provided to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada previously. All personal information collected during the test will be confidential and your participation will not affect your immigration file or any services you receive.

Please note that no results will be given to participants. However, it provides participants with the opportunity to practice a variety of test questions in a test setting.

Thank you for you participation to this very important initiative.
