No progress yet recently. Anyhow, am just hopeful that a dm will happen soon. I might be behind from your progress based on the time of the file transfered but it's enough for me to be more optimistic knowing you have ppr. I simply admire the way you respond to every queries here in the forum and been following you since the day i started to join. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation. You will be welcomed with a nice weather come May 1st. I hope and pray that I'll be reunited with my wife soon and celebrate our anniversary in July together. Where are you in Canada soon? Looks like we're in the same boat! Mine showed in progress on March 15th. Based on other timelines, I believe we'll see a DM within 2 weeks, and hopefully a PPR not too long after that!

But I think my BG check really started after the eligibility review due date on March 05, 2017.. I also think that my BG check lasted for almost two weeks because of all the countries I've visited.. Hence the PPR on the 17th.

When I logged on to my cic just now I saw decision Made and I went crazy ;D ;D ;D ;D . It took me a few seconds to realise that it was decision made for my visitor visa extension and not my PR . its good news though as it means I get to stay with hubby till my PR is approved

I'm just curious if anyone knows the answer to this question. About how long does it take to do the background checks....on average? I think it will take us a bit longer since my husband has lived in 3 other countries besides Korea. I received an email asking for a more detailed Korean criminal check and to pay the RPRF on March 3rd.
