hey so i sent my additional documention that manila requested which was the rprf, i uploaded it to mycic. i was just wondering how long does it generally take from submitted to received. basically from when you upload to when they see it...it's been effecting my sleep. i can't sleep my nights without having dreams that is making me check it several times a night

They asked me RPRF and eIMM5669! but they told me I have to email them by courier! How you uploaded your doc in myCIC? and did they ask or it is optional?

when they request you something, they give you the manner to do it. (email, mail, upload by mycic)
you imperatively must follow the way they ask you to do so .

uploading files with mycic, is permited when the VO let you have an interactif path to upload the file

good to know: each VO has its own way to work and proceed, for example : my VO (paris) use almost 100% the email

so just follow what they ask

I was asked for 2 photos. Which I sent in recorded delivery.

I emailed them and got a very generic response back.

I am worried because I log onto my CIC and it still says

"Your action is required" and when I click it, its the letter still like n o update at all.


Does this mean they haven't received it? I sent it months ago! and it said it was received by the post office.

I don't know what else to do.

My visa runs out in May and were in Feb now. I am on a Experience Canada 2 year Visa and I have heard you cant get a bridging visa to continue working. My application was submitted on October 18th. Do you think they would allow a bridging Visa?

Do you think I have a chance of getting this thing before May?

try to email your officer of your VO and explain him your worries about what you sent them... he/she can answer you

but my opinion is that your VO did not just update your application on Mycic that's it ! and everything is ok.

be ok... they are not perfect! they make lot of mistakes

I finally had the courage to send a concise email to Manila Visa Office asking for any update regarding my application. Hoping for a positive response from them tomorrow.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We received your email regarding file number FXXXXXXX on 15 February 2017. We note that the file was received on 04 November 2016.

If you have sent us this email to report important changes regarding your application, we will add this information to your file. This email serves as your confirmation of receipt for these documents. Please be assured that this information will be brought to the attention of the appropriate authority.

We note that this file is currently within processing standards. We do not respond to status enquiries if the application is within normal processing times.

I never received AOR2 so I mailed my VO last weekend. Today I got a generic mail (I think) from them. At least I know my spouse application is with them, lol. Reply below:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Please be advised that your application is currently in queue for review. No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

For me I received my AOR2 after five days from SA.
