Yea, it is annoying that CIC doesn't work. I also wait for my visitors extension, a bit worried as I am already waiting from October and no news at all, but the processing times are crazy. I hope they extent my stay, I already did one extension without issues, I hope this one will work too or I might need go back to Europe

I know someone who did it several times while they waited for their application to be processed, I think they may have applied inland... but it took three years and she never left the country, just here on a visa.

So my application got returned today because apparently in the Generic Application Form (Page 2 Contact Information Q1), I mentioned my Canadian address for my wife's current mailing address, as my wife is currently living with me on this address on a TRV.

They said and I quote "A correction to the mailing address specified on the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM0008) to reflect the mailing address of the Principal Applicant; or, if the Principal Applicant wishes to have correspondence mailed to the address specified, a completed and signed Use of a Representative form (IMM 5476) is required for the authorization of release of documents and information to the individual residing at this address."

In this case, should I enter her Indian mailing address?

Request some urgent assistance as I need to rectify and send this application again tomorrow.

I know it is possible, but just I am waiting for this application, for CSQ and for visitors extension, so it is like triple wait for me Don't know how much wait I can handle anymore.. haha
Thanks.. I hope it will be ok, just processing time is 143 days or something for visitor extensions.. so thats unusually, everything seems so slow in CIC these days..

I am not sure abou this confusion with these addresses anymore or even what to suggest. I live with my husband in Canada and we showed Canadian address, as that's where I am stying now. Application was not returned and transfered to visa office.
I would suggest to call them and ask them what is the real issue and how to fix it or maybe make separate topic for this issue and someone else will offer some solution.

I hope they won't return my application, as my residence address is in Canada now too :

I don't think I could handle a triple wait lol... I'm so impatient... or rather I become impatient when I don't fully understand a process and I just want to see results.... but it must be so great to be with your hubby. I get a little jealous of the people who get to be with their spouse. I haven't seen my husband in almost a year... and Skype just doesn't cut it...

That's why I try to be patience as much as I can, because I know how lucky I am to be able to spend time with my husband here and I try to appreciate every moment we spend together, as I don't know if I need to go back or not anytime soon.
What country you are if you don't mind me asking? It must be hard to only have Skype calls, I remember when we did Skype, I was crying so often, don't want to go back to this, but I am trying to prepare myself mentally for any outcome.

You should have received (Sponsor) SA email or post letter saying where your file was transfered.

Ring them up because sometimes they forget to send an email or letter confirming it.
