Now SA days increased to 63 days from 62 days. CIC keep on increasing the processing time. Really worried.

Joining this group! We sent in our application last Nov 18, 2015 and as per UPS it was delivered and received by the CPC-M on Nov 19, 2015. I'm guessing we'll all get our SAs by mid January but still hoping CPC-M will grant the approvals earlier as late Christmas gifts to us haha!

I am sponsoring my Japanese fiancé, outland application and our visa office is Manila. We sent our application on November 3rd and it arrived/was signed for on November 6th! Now its just the waiting game...

Hi All,

We are now ready to send our application, but we are a little bit confused about using a representative or not. Here's the case, My husband(Canadian Citizen by birth, resident of Quebec)) and I are going back to Philippines on January and might stay in my home country as my visitors visa here in Canada will expire on January 30, 2016. On his application he used his parents address in Montreal as his residential and mailing address. Question: If something is missing on my application and it will be return by cic (which I hope won't happen), where are they going to send it? to my mailing address in Manila or on my husbands mailing address in Montreal? If it will be send to my husbands mailing address, should we fill out and submit the IMM5476 ''Use of Representative''? Please advice.

Hi Everyone,

We sent our package from Turkey - arrived Nov 12 and signed for by Erika. Hopefully no hiccups and it all goes smoothly. The only issue I can see is that I'm currently living in Turkey with my wife and kid (4 yrs total in Turkey) but I continue to work for a Canadian company (software programmer) and have a job offer from them for Sep 2016. I've also always filed my taxes in Canada I'm hoping that will alleviate any concerns they have of us moving back.
