NOVEMBER 2013 APPLICATIONS

Hi guys,

I am Novemeber 2013 applicant. I applies under PNP from Toronto. Here is my timeline:

Application sent: Novemeber 12, 2013
Received file number: February 09, 2013
Medical request by CIO, Sydney, Nova Scotia: February 09, 2013
Medical result received by CIO: February 21
RPRF request by CIO: May 15, 2014
RPRF paied: 21 May 2014

Online application status: Application received, medical received

It had been more than 4 months since I paid RPRF and emailed the receipt to CIO. However, my online application status did not change to "in process" yet. I received an email from CIO in Nova scotia saying that my file has been transferred to Ottawa for further processing. I think it is possible that CIO did not send copy of my RPRF payment when they transferred my file to Ottawa. Some of my friends who applied after me got passport request!!

Some folks from Sep 2013 have recieved PPRs in the past few days.
For the rest of us, the wait is still on

I have heard noting other than AOR since Jan.its 11 months form the time i filed.
applied gcms in june and everything is in progress.applied the second one a months back , didn't get gcms yet.
Any suggestions guys !!!what might be been the issue ?

Hey guys, my ppr came through on Sep 26 and my pp reached ottawa on Sep 30th and it's still there. I have kind of an emergency situation wherein I would have to leave Canada and go back to my home country. Is there anyway they would expedite the process if I let them know of my situation? or else if there any other options?

No they wont. You will have to wait for PP to return.

No, they won't process you case faster. But if you need your passport urgently, you can ask CIC to return your passport. One of my friend did this, CIC returned her passport, but WITHOUT stamping. So it is better you wait they complete you case and get your passport back with the stamping that you have waited for months.

Hi group,

I got the RPRF request on Sept 29 and paid the fees same day and updated CIC about the payment.
I was wondering if any of you got the biometric form (applicable to CEC.....?) along with the RPRF request or will it be sent separately. Usually how much time it takes for the PPR after the RPRF?

Practically it can take from a few days to even months.

Thanks Goku, Feiniao. Yeah it looks like I don't have any option but to wait and i cannot go anywhere without the pp. This is a crappy situation.
