no idea whats happening with this , sent mail two weeks back but no reply

Same here. No change in ECAS for more than a month now..... Also sent 3 emails but no response from CIC. This is adding to the frustration.

It will come, don't worry too much. Take it from us, we were sooo very worried by the delays,
but we have landed in the end.

Most probably the VO handling your docs are still up North camping.

Apologies for this post if it's irrelevant to the topic. But I hope it can also help.

For OHIP health card renewal after landing, the lady at Cloverdale mall told us that the 0280-82E form Change of information was not the correct form to update our healthcard.

She replaced it with the yellow form 3896-82 and instructed us to go to Islington Service Ontario.

There the officer said the correct form is the 0280-82E. Way to go Service Ontario.

Thanks dizon09. Your words provide some consolation. We were hoping something today going by the past record.....There was a month gap between each event.

RCMP requested- 5th May
Medical Requested - 6th June
ECAS updated - 6th July
Nothing till now - 6th August

I guess as you said, we just need to sit tight and wait.

Hi Dizon09! Please help me, we are now preparing to apply BOWP online and I need some clarifications regarding family application at the same time (spouse SOWP & children study permit). Here's some questions that I'm so confuse. Expiry of all our permits will be this Sept 12, 2014.

1. Do you have a written job offer?

2. Which situation best describe your work?
- working under international agreement
- eligible for a work permit on active pilot programs
- none of the above ( if i select this one follow up question would be LMO requirements)

3. What is your family members current immigration status in Canada?
- visitor (I choose this one)
- worker
- temporary permit holder

My passport was delivered on 29th..return tracker not activated yet. I'm sure it's vacation season and could lead to overall delays in processing.

will take atleast 2 weeks to get ure tracker activated. just cuz u send ure passport doesnt mean they will stamp the visa right away n send it back... patience my friends

you dont need a visa if you have a valid WP until the expected date to recieve PR unless you want to travel out of country.
