Hi Bafakih, you do not need a U.S. visa when you opt to used the flagpole landing.
My friend, a family of 6, just walked across the rainbow bridge and back when they did the flagpole landing
Thank you.

Omshri, I hope your statement comes true for September applicants as well. Many on there waiting to hear back anything from CIC.

I think all the one's from 10th to 15th November are being handled by the same officer :P and he might be enjoying his vacation so all the rest are getting PPR's and we are not.

Hopefully we will get something next week!!

I am sorry, No as you have it or No as in you are agreeing with me and telling me that you do not have it?

So all November applicants have gotten the MR? Or there are still some waiting... I am just trying to estimate when mine could be coming...

Thank you for your responses! I guess I still have quite a long way to go until I get the MR... Good luck everyone!

What does"Medical results have been received" means ?

it means my meds are ok?

Generally, if there was a problem with your medicals, the doctor would have called you. Most likely the results are fine, but give the doctor a call and make sure.

Well, I m 18th November applicant and I am still waiting so I don't think your VO is on vacation. Guys I have serious question what should be right time for applying BOWP as it's expiring on 30 sept should I wait till end of July.

Received my passport request on Thursday, sent my and my husband's passports to Ottawa on Friday.

ECAS was changed to Decision Made. Here is what my ECAS added to my overview of the case:

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Now I have a question. Is it normal for ECAS to state DECISION MADE before I receive my passports back? I am always paranoid with this CIC, I cannot even calm down for a second since reading this forum shows me that you are never safe...

Also my passport request email stated the following:

Submit all documents by MAIL in a single package. Quote your application number on your correspondence and send the package to one of the following addresses:

Canada Post:
CPC – Ottawa
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9

Courier:
CPC – Ottawa
365 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1

I used Xpresspost by Canada Post and I sent my package with passports to CPC – Ottawa, PO Box 9780, Ottawa ON K1G 4B9 since Xpresspost is not a courier as was explained to me at the post office, but now I am paranoid if that package will be delivered to PO Box since only Canada Post has access to PO Boxes. It should, right? Since Xpresspost is a service by Canada Post?

When will this all end, and when will I be able to relax knowing that I am staying in Canada forever? lol, I don't know the answer to that question...

I think I will go to see my doctor to deal with my extreme anxiety because of all this after I land... I should say IF I land not to jinx it... :D

Hey gladaki, your work permit is expiring 30th September right? Apply via online application on 1st September and you will get it in 20 days. By that time you will have gotten your passport back with the stamps.

Yes, decision made after ppr is a sure way of knowing that your application is approved. Only worry you should have is during the landing process don't give any opportunity to the officer to reject application. I'm sure you will not :)

Yes, Xpresspost will get your application to the PO Box, where it will be signed by Ms. Cound.

I did not opt for a signature... There is a tracking number but the person at Canada Post told me not to pay for a signature since it is going to PO Box... I don't think it is a big deal though since Xpresspost is trackable anyways and it should say delivered or something like that...

Any idea how long it takes after they receive it? Like a week? or less? Once I receive our passports back I am jumping on that casino bus with my husband and we are going to land the next morning even if I have to take a day off work...

Even I didn't pay for signature, but somehow Canada post tracking showed that it was signed. So no clue there. For me it's been a week so far without return envelope tracker not activated yet. From what I have seen it normally takes two weeks.

I guess they just sign it anyways...
