Congratulations!!! Since I am waiting for my passports back, I myself started thinking about landing. What questions did they ask you? What was required by the officer? Just your passport with a landing visa + COPR? Did they ask for your valid permits? Any questions about funds? I know that you don't have to show funds while crossing a border if you have gotten your PR with CEC but still, did they ask you anything about it?

• Have you been convicted of crime or refused visa etc.
• Do you have any goods to follow

• How long have you been living in Canada?
• Will you be looking for a job or you are already working in Ontario

• Will you be staying in Canada permanently or at a later date.
• Will you be living at the address you provided for at least 3 months?

I hope to get my passports tomorrow. Does anyone know how many days it takes them to deliver it from Ottawa to Toronto?

When I was sending them out, I dropped them at the Canada Post on Friday and on Monday it was delivered, but I am not sure how they counted Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully it takes them 1 day, I don't wanna wait 2 days during the weekend, would LOOOVEEE to land on Saturday...

Yep, no expected delivery dates for me too. I called up Canada Post and they said Xpresspost has delivery guarantees, so they try their hardest to deliver in that time line.

Hey Maniac, First of all congrats. Glad that your landing was smooth enough.
If I don't have a government ID with my current address would a utility bill suffice (Like cell phone bill)? If they ask for address proof.
Also any knowledge about landing by Bus?

They don't need any address proof. Just ask you to write it down so that they can input it themselves. But utility bill will work.

You can definitely land by bus, but not sure there will be enough time. Not sure how long the bus and waits. You can also land by crossing the bridge by foot.

Hi friends, have anybody did their landing using the airport as port of entry?
We are just 10 min from Pearson, it's another good option if it's possible
