For me it took about 5 days. But there are few ppl whose status isnt yet updated. All we can do is pray that ours get update and wish luck for the rest

Hi all,

A question for those who have landed already or are about to land. What's the landing procedure like? Do we need to pay any money at the border as landing charges or any other outstanding bills?

Thanks

Did you check your spam mail? The subject of the PPR email is "ready for visa". If still no PPR mail try sending CIC an email inquiring about PPR.

Can anyone point me some link where i can learn about the landing procedures. I sent my Passport and once i get it back i intend to land asap. I currently live in Toronto.

Nope nothing in my Spams, Im just thinking that CIC works in batches and are currently working on applications till November 10th for their PPR , Next week it would be November 15th's .

Usually PPR follows close to Decision Made. I received PPR first on Friday, then my status changed to Decision Made following Monday. My advise is to send them a mail stating that your status is Decision Made but you haven't heard from CIC ever since. Also are you from Visa Exempt country, if this the case you'll not receive PPR, you'll directly receive COPR.

I received my PPR and status still now in process. So i assume it doesnt happen at all time

It all has been so random , Some of them have received PPR's within a week. Some of them have taken 4 weeks.

But i for sure do know that they work in batches on applications , and till the next review date which depends on Application received date . So if i see people with AOR similar to me getting PPR ill get more worried :D

I should learn to be patient for the PPR ... It's funny how I was expecting to get PR after 12 months when I filed last November. But, as CIC is processing things fast now, expectations has changed :D. Hopefully soon! I'm part of the group who received MR last week of May and RPRF on June 2.
