We're in Vancouver, but my fiance had to go home because LMO did not come through on time so waiting patiently here.
I think LMO is not going to happen considering all the bad press it has got lately.Where are you based?

Ah there's so many ppl in the same situation as you I wouldn't worry about it, his LMO will come through if he meets the requirements, you're just over thinking it. And anyways if you get PR you can sponsor him if ye get married...so it will all work out in the end, just takes a bit of time and nail-biting! :)

I'm in Saskatoon, SK. Would much prefer to be in Vancouver though but they say there's not as much work there.

Hey Guys,

I just did upfront RPRF and sent it to cppo-cost-recovery @ cic.gc.ca , I havent received any automated reply or any reply from them.

Normally does anyone know the timeline for their response???
They wont reply for RPRF...you can only check from GCMS notes...But when you send recipt to cppo-cost-recovery you do get a automated reply immediately that we are working on your application.

Well my application was received on Nov 12th and I havent heard back anything so far. So looks like my luck is even worse :P

I guess there is nothing else to do but just wait. I have ordered for my GCMS notes and it got rejected. Strangely.

That's weird, maybe your payment didn't go through and thats the problem? I got my GCMS notes and there was hardly any info in it, they usually email you 1 month after you request it.

I've never been to Saskatoon but definitely plan on visiting some time soon. Whats it like? Vancouver is great I love it. I haven't had any problems getting work but I have heard that others have found it difficult. Small city, lots of people.

I put my fiance on the CEC application at the start because I had no faith in the LMO process thank god I did that :D

Hope we hear something soon

That is so weird. I think Zenith9 is right there must have been an issue with payment. I ordered GCMS notes in March and received them by e-mail exactly 30 days after requesting them.

The notes I received had nothing of value on them, it looked like our application had barely been looked at.

Saskatoon is great in the Summer but the winter gets really cold. Yeah Vancouver has a climate more similar to Ireland so winters would be nice there, just like back home.

Oh that's brill, so it's only a matter of time b4 ye have yer PR then. Good luck with it.

Hey emeo could you post your timeline so someone can add it to the spreadsheet? it's nice to not be the only Irish one there compared to a million Indians :)

Lol I think that whoever is updating the spreadsheet just put india as default. Hard to believe that 99% of the aplicants are from only one country. I am indian according to the spreadsheet. I honestly believe nationality wont matter on this case. NOC on the other hand, might be taken in consideration.

App Rec: Nov 14th
Aor: Dec 19th
PCC sent: No
Med req: May 23th
Med done: May 26th
Rprf paid: may 28th
Rprf requested: june 2nd

Venezuelan ;D

Hey man, my appl was filed on Nov 19 and AOR Jan 6 and I still haven't received MR.. So its just a couple of us left.

I am in the same boat - app filed 19th Nov and still no MR.

I guess there are a couple more in this forum who are even before us and are still waiting for their MR and there are might be some who are not here. Don't know the reason of the delay but i guess & hope its just a matter of time and the MR will come..

I know the wait is frustrating .. Good luck to all of us !! :)
